Pooja Warier co-founded UnLtd India, India’s first incubator that provides both financial and non-financial support to social entrepreneurs. Since its launch eight years ago, the company has supported 132 unique fellows, created 12,000 jobs and has reached more than 1,000,000 beneficiaries through its ventures. For every rupee that UnLtd India provides via funding, their investee programs have raised ₹14.5 of further funding. Winner of the Young Global Leader title in 2013 and a fellow of the World Economic Forum, Warier says that it is her perseverance or as she puts it, her “stubbornness” to see her ideas and ambition in reality that has helped her overcome the initial funding and scaling-up challenges. Her vision is to have ten independent UnLtd affiliate incubators across the country that together will form a network supporting 500 enterprising social change makers.
